In reviewing the previous hypertext essays available, there are several points that I realize I can improve upon in my own essay. The Morticians website provided clear and concise information, without requiring the reader to scroll down. In the manicurists page as well as the "disparity at SCU" page, I thought that the statistics pages were excellent additions to the site. Also in the Disparity page, I noticed the link "Another way of looking at it", which I think is a very important quality of the site- to show the opposing view. The sexism in science page had several links within the text, so that the reader was able to immediately go to the topic of their choice without reading things that were not important to them. A final thing that I plan to use in formatting my hypertext is the addition of a page that relates me, the author, to my topic, as the Child Labor website does.
