hypertext

My hypertext is going to talk about Volunteer Work. Right now I have compiled a good amount of research/ stats. I am hoping to interview someone against volunteer work and someone who dedicates a lot of their time to volunteering. I wish to bring up the issue of schools making community service mandatory and how that has caused change. After viewing some of the other pages, I really like how all of the pages have strong images and catchy phrases on their intro. page. Right now my first page is sort of cluttered and I want to change this so its very evident as soon as you click on the link what my topic is. Another thing I noticed was the layouts of the pages. I like how the text isn't all clumped together- I really want to add in images, maybe a video... something that allows the viewer a break from reading. The images on all the hypertext websites we've looked at have very strong images- they are eye-catching and enhance the overall "tone" or "mood" of the page. I really hope to include strong images that can contrast with the background and really bring my page to an overall coherence.
