School work
I liked the nail parlor website the best from the list of examples. On some pages, the yellow consistency of the background made me bored and feel a little sick, so I would close the window and move on. My goal is to keep the audience viewing my page interested. I want the audience to only leave my site once they are done reading it. The flash pictures are interesting at first, but they aren't enough to impress the reader throughout the piece. Also, I didn't like how I had a hard time finding links, when I had to scroll down a page, or when I had to go back to the home page each time I wanted to find a new topic. I want to keep my website simple and make it easy for my readers to surf through.

hi tori,
i feel the same way about the bland colors, they are pretty boring and don't stand out a lot. i also agree with you when you say you want people to be able to navigate through your website easily, i think that i need to work on that that too.
That's a great idea to keep your site simple and easy to read. It's good to use colors that do not make your audience sick when they are trying to read it!
I don't know, I like what you said about the bland colors, but I feel as if some of the flash stuff for websites can be very catchy as long as they are not done in a gimmiky way. Making sure that your website looks simple, yet is complex on the inside is a true sign of creating a good webpage. So far it seems like your doing alright so just make sure to keep it up.
