Hypertext
When I read Liu's article, or at least bits and pieces of it, I was able to really understand what he was saying when I looked at Dang's hypertext. When reading a hypertext, I really tend to only focus on the links and the words that are linked or bolded. It just feels like I can gain an understanding of what they're saying without reading all of it. Besides, the linked and bolded words are the most important ones anyway, right? It is easier and faster to read if I just skim and focus only on the highlighted words.

that is the purpose of a hypertext, so you can simply skim and click while getting the overall idea from the site. just be careful you do not miss the important things by only looking at the bolded, underlined words
I agree with you, because seeing something in bold kind of lets me scan the page for the main keywords so that I don't have to spend the time going over every single word on the page. Jus tbe careful that you focus too much on putting too many linked or bolded words, because then you are only focusing information that others have given into a single spot, whereas I would be much more interested in hearing your viewpoints if I am taking the time to navigate to your page.
