I recognized the same thing: Working in fast food is a lot harder than it seems. Yet, we, as a society, look down fast food workers. It definitely changed my perspectives.
As far as how it helped organize my hypertext essay, chapter 3 started off explaining the premise for the entire issue, with things that wouldn't really seem to matter, yet, it is all related. Also, chapter 3 slowly moves its way into Fast Food by first starting with the origins of Colorado Springs and moving along with time. I found that very useful for getting the whole picture.
